Aashirvaad Gulab Jamun Mix Ingredients :
Wheat Flour, Milk Solids, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Sugar, Raising Agent (INS 500 (ii)), Acidity Regulator (INS 330) and Stabilizers (INS 331 (iii), INS 339 (ii)). Hydrogenated vegetable fats used - Contains trans fats.
Aashirvaad Gulab Jamun Mix Cooking Instructions :
* Uniformly mix contents of this pack with 4 tablespoons (60ml) of water. (Take 1 part of water to 5.5 parts of mix by volume). Knead into a smooth dough.
* If dough is hard, add little more water to knead into a smooth dough. Keep it covered for 5 mins. Make approx. 40 balls from the dough.
* Deep-fry the Jamuns for 3-5 mins. on low flame or until they trun golden brown.
* Take the Jamuns out and immediately dip them in the hot sugar syrup.
* Soak Jamuns in syrup for at least 12-15 mins. before first consumption.
Sugar syrup preparation :
- Make sugar syrup by taking 700 gms of sugar and add equal quantity of water (700ml).
- Boil the syrup and simmer for 5 mins.
- Add cardamom powder to the syrup if desired.
